Churches, schools, and community organizations regularly collect clothing and supplies for a partner church, school, or family in Jamaica. If your group's barrels are headed to one destination, they can go under one order β and one pickup fee.
The key is whether your group's barrels are all going to the same receiver in Jamaica.
All barrels going to one church, school, or family in Jamaica can be booked as a single order.
One pickup fee, totalMembers shipping to their own relatives need their own individual order and receiver TRN.
One pickup fee, each orderWe recommend one point of contact books and manages the group's order.
Simplest optionGood to know: the pickup fee is charged once per order, not per barrel β so a donation drive collecting 10 barrels for one partner church pays the pickup fee just once. There isn't a way to link several members' separate, individual orders under one shared pickup fee β each of those still needs its own order and its own pickup fee based on that member's area. We're glad to try to line up pickup timing for members in the same neighbourhood if you contact us, but that's a scheduling courtesy, not a discount.
Gather clothing, supplies, and gifts from your congregation or community into barrels, checking the prohibited items list as you pack.
One person books the order with their own ID and the receiving contact's Jamaican TRN, so there's a single point of contact for the whole shipment.
Bring the barrels to our Mississauga warehouse for free, or book a single pickup for the whole order.
Your group's barrels ship together and arrive at Kingston port, then move to our customs agent's bonded warehouse, where the receiving contact clears and collects them.
